Boot Cut Style Session #1!

 Haaappy Tuesday, everyone!
Welcome to the first Boot Cut Style Session!

You might have heard me mention once or twice that flare jeans are an upcoming fall trend.
Well, I'm counting bootcut jeans in this category just because bootcut jeans are so much more flattering on me.
And flare jeans are too flared for my taste.
It's honestly difficult for me to get into a full-on 70s vibe.
It's just not "me", and I am all about expressing the true self and wearing what most echoes "me".
The slight flare in bootcut jeans do a great job of balancing out my thighs since they are naturally more muscular.

This top is really comfortable because the material is 100% polyester.
It feels really smooth against my skin!
You can truly play up this top to be business formal or play it down a little to be business casual (it would look so amazing with a white blazer!). You could even play it down a tad more like I did so it's an everyday throw-on kind of top... but it keeps its class.
Here is a simple top, like mine, but it's sleeveless and has a feminine scalloped trim on the bottom.
And here is another simple but pretty and feminine top.
The one I'm wearing is sold out! =(
They are both from The Limited just like the one I'm wearing and would look just as cute, if not more cute, than the one pictured!
They are also under $40!! The Limited is having a big sale right now!

The jeans I'm wearing are made by the brand "A Gold E" and they are the "Juliette" version. They aren't necessarily "dark" jeans, but are still on the darker side.  They fit very well! I had to get them altered, as expected, because they were way too long. I asked my alterations person to make the length appropriate for both flats and heels. I didn't want these to drag on the floor, but at the same time, I wanted to be able to wear heels with these jeans so they're not an awkward length. If you live in the Denver area and need a good tailor, let me know in the comment section and I will give you their information!
Unfortunately, the Juliette version is sold out, but here is a great alternative boot cut pair by another trusted brand that offers the same quality as A Gold E.

My necklace is from Charming Charlie.
It's funny because turquoise is their "color of the month", so this works out well! Haha.
Turquoise is also my favorite color. I am always drawn to it!
Charming Charlie has TONS of turquoise necklaces right now that would go so well with the color top I'm wearing in the photos. I think you'd call it Robin's Egg Blue? When it comes to actual by-the-book colors, I get lost. I forget. When I try to name a color according to its textbook name, I feel like I'm trying to understand directions. Just... lost. (I'm not the best at directions!)
Anyway, it's like an Elsa blue. You know, from Frozen?
And then the necklace I'm wearing is turquoise. I love it because the slight difference in blues makes the outfit pop - they play off of one another.
Shop for gorgeous turquoise necklaces from Charming Charlie here!
(Mine is sold out.)

Here are some really cute metallic silver flats (and they're under $15!!) similar to mine.

I hope this post inspires you to rock a new turquoise piece this month!

Stay tuned for tomorrow's blog post! The photos will definitely *POP* as I will be mixing two patterns!

That's all I'm giving away for now.
I hope you enjoyed this post!

xoxo
