Hello!

This is the last blog post that comprises my collaboration with Dionna McCarthy Photography - but don't worry - this isn't the total end!

I wanted to save this outfit post for last because it's my favorite. I prefer to save my favorite things for last because I believe I get more enjoyment out of it. There's something about lingering anticipation and excitement when it comes to surprising someone (or, in this case, you!) with a really good gift that I feel like I can't wait to give.

This sweater is magical. Three great things about it:
1) This sweater has pockets for cold or casual hands.
2) This sweater is the perfect shade of red. It's flattering to most skin tones and it definitely pops.
3) It's really warm and soft.

In summary, this is now one of my favorite sweaters. I can throw it on and it instantly looks stylish. I don't have to put in much effort (if I'm not feeling like it) to make it look stylish. It's a piece that speaks for itself. There is also a raised stripe that runs down the back of the sweater. You can take a peek at it in some of the photos where my back is slightly turned towards the camera. It adds a pretty streamlined texture. I love the subtle feature of this stripe.

I wanted to have fun with this sweater and my bootcut jeans by throwing on some leopard print heels. Red and leopard print is a stylish and spunky mix that I don't think will go out of style anytime soon.

By the way, Dionna did a great job choosing our location for this photoshoot. She found a building with a lot of turquoise features (including a whole door) and it complements my red sweater in the coolest way.

Reminder: If you're a Colorado fashion blogger, consider hiring Dionna McCarthy as your photographer! She is very talented and has such an eye for color when it comes to choosing locations that will complement an outfit for beautiful and above-and-beyond photos. She also knows how to bring out true, natural beauty and bold colors in her photo editing.
She's extremely easy to work with and super sweet.
