Before we dive in:
I'm excited to share this post with you because I am featuring an item from a newly discovered boutique that I love, and the creator behind this boutique is the sweetest. I had the honor of meeting her and I love how easy she is to talk to! The passion she has for her boutique is completely evident.

Okay, now let's turn our attention to the first photo: 

The teal blue and chestnut color combo! 

This look is inspired by one of Kendra Scott's (jewelry designer) Instagram photos.

In her photo, she was wearing a teal blue silk blouse with a brown pleated leather skirt. I instantly fell in love with the color combination. However, I decided to change one thing: The skirt I am wearing is a chestnut color instead of brown and I love it! 

I accessorized this outfit by wearing a gold and leopard print statement necklace. 

The new fall jewelry collection she released was sparked by a trip she took to Dubai. I believe her new fall collection is called "Mystic Bazaar".

Now onto the second outfit...

Do you remember the olive colored "Lurina" Peep Toe Booties I featured? (If not, go here to read about these awesome shoes!)

Well, I also promised that I would actually style them with an outfit. When I thought about how I would style them for the late summer/early fall, this chestnut skater skirt came to mind and Forever 21 had the perfect one.

These booties are perfect with a skirt because they flatter the ankles and are slimming on the legs. They are totally wearable for extended periods of time! 

I also realized that these booties are very flexible around the ankles. They are easy to slip into and will not rub or create blisters, at least for me.

Marissa from "A Boutique" gifted me with this blanket scarf and I love it! I can wrap it around my neck or drape it over my shoulders if it gets too chilly outside. It's not too thin and not too thick, and more importantly, it's very soft. This blanket scarf is the epitome of "cozy". I love its pop of red and the short fringe detail on the ends. The plaid paired with the lace on my shirt gives this outfit the intricacy it needs in order to stand out. 

This outfit came together so easily!
