Wow - I feel like I haven't posted in forever!

Sorry for the inconsistency. I've had an unexpected and exciting opportunity spring up and it has required my full attention.

But I'm back and ready for another fall blog post!

I am waiting to hear back about a solid job I applied for, which is why my blogging has been on a brief hold. I am hoping and praying for God's favor regarding this career! If I don't get it, I will definitely be disappointed, but I will know that it wasn't meant to be because I honestly tried my best throughout this whole application and interview process.

Anyway, I'm really excited about the six items I linked for y'all. I've seen the top three items in person and they are beautiful! I tried on #3 and love it. But let's not get ahead of ourselves (myself)...

#1. This Rebecca Minkoff 'Mini Fiona' Bucket Bag is, in my opinion, the bag for fall. Not only are bucket bags 'in' right now, but you'll start to see this rich wine color everywhere as the season matures. I think it's a great winter staple, too. Bucket bags are compact and perfect for when you only need to carry a few things around with you.

#2. This Kimchi & Blue Long Sleeve Lace Romper from Urban Outfitters is so cute and classy! The long sleeves make it fancier and fall friendly. If you live in a warmer state, this romper would be an amazing holiday outfit. I'm thinking Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve/Day. If I still lived in Florida, I know I would be wearing this during the holidays. I would pair it with black tights in order to look totally appropriate for winter.

#3. The 'Tree Swing' Hi-Low Top from Free People is comfortable, boho, and relatable all at the same time. When I say relatable, I'm talking to those of you who just can't fully get on board with the boho look (like me). I like some boho pieces, but the boho details must be subtle. Some bohemian pieces are too hippie and earthy for me. I don't like to look messy, I'm picky with layering, I don't like overwhelming features like huge bell sleeves, etc. This top is great because the sleeves are simple and flare out a bit on the forearms, it has a clean hi-low hem, and I love the red color with the floral print. My favorite part about this top is the strap that snaps across the chest (that sounds... violent).
Confession: I will probably buy this top mainly because it reminds me of modern-day abolitionist, teaching pastor, author, and business owner, Christine Caine. She is an inspiration to many, including myself. She dresses mainly in black and often wears oversized boho/flowy tops like this one. She is almost 50 years old and pulls off this look better than most! This is an overall flattering top and I hope to get it soon!

#4. These 'Yoniana' Suede Wedge Booties by Lucky Brand are different than other booties because of their wedge. I am thinking about purchasing these because 1. I don't own any wedge booties and 2. I love this chestnut color and don't own any booties that are this color either. They're crisp, clean, and casual.

#5. I am in love with these "Rodillo-Hi" Wedge Sandals by Jeffrey Campbell. They are so flattering on the feet! (refer to Style Blogger Alyson Haley's look with the sandals here.)
I really like the cream color. I would love to welcome these into my closet because I don't own any shoes like these and really need to reach outside my comfort zone in the shoe department! I am attracted to neutral shoes and can't seem to get enough of the same old styles. Speaking of reaching outside of your comfort zone, don't be afraid to break some rules by wearing these seemingly summery sandals during the early fall.

#6. Lastly, we have the 'Pallas' Booties by Steve Madden. These booties are a little different because you can fold over the top part - kind of like cuffing your jeans, but you can cuff these booties! The fringe pulls this bootie together and makes it the trendiest kind of fall shoe right now. Fringe will fall in and out of style, but I think this bootie will live beyond the fringe trend. These booties have a subtle Western feel, but it's not too overwhelming.
